Egly-Ouriet Grand Cru Extra Brut is an exceptional champagne that represents the quintessence of elegance and complexity. This wine is a blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, with grapes coming mainly from the Grand Cru of Ambonnay, and to a lesser extent from the Grand Cru Bouzy and Verzenay.
Winemaking
The production of this champagne is a meticulous and careful process: 70% of the wine is vinified in barrels for 10 months, followed by a minimum ageing of 36 months in the bottle with its lees. This prolonged ageing contributes to its depth and complexity.

Egly-Ouriet Grand Cru Extra Brut is a champagne of deep and elegant character, with an energy that reveals itself in every sip. Its aromatic profile is rich and varied, highlighting notes of apple, raspberry and woody nuances, complemented by hints of pastry and yeast. The texture is remarkably round and smooth, despite a low dosage of only 1 g/l, which gives it an extra brut quality. The length on the palate is impressive, with a vinous character that will satisfy the most demanding palates. This champagne is a true reflection of its terroir, where quality begins in the chalk soils that absorb excess water and give the grapes their distinctive mineral flavour.
