An economist, a technician... and a love affair with the vineyard

The history of the winery was born from the meeting of chance and vocation. Alberto Nanclares, an economist by training, came to Cambados looking for peace and quiet and ended up finding his destiny among old vines and granite soils. What began as a domestic winemaking process has become, over the years, a benchmark winery for those in search of wines with soul. The incorporation of Silvia Prieto in 2015, a laboratory technician and wine enthusiast, brought a sensitivity and oenological rigour that enhanced Alberto's vision. Together, they recognise themselves as "labregos das viñas" and "artesans do viño": artisans of detail, of the small, of the essential.

Vineyards with tradition and a lot of character

The vineyards, spread between Cambados, Meis, Meaño, Ribadumia, Barro and other villages dotted with history and saltpetre, are small jewels of biodiversity. Cultivated using organic methods and respecting natural rhythms, these vineyards on sandy loam soils of granite rock are home to vines that are up to a century old. There is no uniformity or mass production: each plot, each microclimate, each vintage is a different story that is told without filters.
