At Gourmet Hunters the standard shipment charge is calculated for a 6 bottles box or about 10Kg weight (consider 6 bottles of 75 cl with an approximate weight of 10 kilograms). The delivery charges, besides the requested wines, also includes boxes packing accredited by international transport leading companies to ensure safe transportation, the insurance against loss or damage during transportation and localtaxes.
Transport charges are valid for Magnum size bottles (3 kg/bottle) and double Magnum (6kg/bottle), with individual special packing.

Free transport for orders of 6 bottles or more, whenever you buy in multiples of 6 bottles full boxes, and destination Hong Kong (Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories).

Order over 60 bottles, shipments are carried out on a palletized service with full insurance.

No. Delivery charges includes home delivery, packaging and insurance against loss or damage during transportation and local taxes.

In Gourmet Hunters we know how fragile wine transport is and the importance of receiving wine in perfect conditions. For this reason, our secure boxes (approved by the leading companies in international transport) are designed with a reinforced corrugated cardboard of three layers and an inner cardboard wine-rack, which creates an air cushion for each bottle, avoiding the contact between them and preventing any breakage. Would you dare to throw a box from two meters high? We already done the test!

For Hong Kong (Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories) we have an agreement with the best express transport company UPS with an estimated delivery time of 3 working days

We process all incoming orders until noon, Monday to Friday, so that the wines we have in stock generally leave by transport the next working day.

Delivery to Hong Kong takes up to 3 working days once your order has been shipped from our warehouse (excluding Weekends & Bank Holidays). Upon dispatch of your order we will notify you by email with a tracking number.

Yes indeed. You will receive your tracking number for the next few hours once your order has been shipped out.  Whenever you want, you can check the status of your order by logging in my account

All orders are hand-delivered by a certified carrier to the consignee and to the delivery address you indicate when placing your order.

Depending on the driver and delivery area, your order can be delivered throughout the day. The UPS express service may exclude scheduled delivery, however you decide how, where and when your home deliveries will be made by subscribing to UPS My Choice®.

We strongly recommend you signing an address where there will be someone to receive your parcel. For many people, this will be a work address. 

Upon reception of your order, you will have to sing a proof delivery note on the driver’s PDA. Transports companies do not allow you to open packages until you have signed the delivery slip. Please, check carefully the state of the package and if there is any open, tampered or damage box, do not accept the parcel and do not sign transport delivery slip.

If you spend a lot of time away from home, we recommend you by choosing a shipping address where there will be someone to receive the delivery.  The address can belong to your relative or neighbour nearby or even your workplace. If none of the above work for you, please contact us in order to make delivery arrangements with the nearest parcel shop.

If the order received does not match with your order and it is due to a fault from our side during its processing, please contact our Customer Service Department giving your personal data and details of the problem. We will replace or refund your order without any extra charges.

Yes of course, orders can be sent as a gift. At Shipping Data after confirming your basket, you must include the recipient name of the and his/her delivery address properly. Additionally you have the option to add a gift message at your order. The recipient will receive a packing slip without prices so the recipient will know who it's from and what it is made up.

All orders are subject to embrace an ultimate packaging system of certified and approved well equipped boxes made by leading shipping companies in order to avoid breakage however we know accidents may occur during shipping.

If upon receipt of your order you detect spots or leaks of liquid, please do not accept the package nor sign the delivery note. The shipping company will contact us and we will take care of managing a new shipment without extra expenses for you or we will make total refund to you.

If you did not detect the order issues immediately and even accepted the parcel, please contact us within 24 hours after delivery, sending us pictures of the condition of the parcel and the broken bottles in order to handle the claim with the shipping company.  Only in this case, we may replacement the broken bottles at no extra cost or we will refund the money.

Yes indeed. Enter your hotel or accommodation delivery address on the Shipping Data Section of the Checkout. We strongly recommend you to provide us your hotel arrival date and your hotel room number if you have it. Therefore, please inform the hotel that we will make a delivery for you.

Shipping companies do not accept the shipment of bottles in original boxes because it is not an approved package against any type of breakage (unsuitable packaging) and therefore is excluded from insurance in case of breakage. Shipping experience with our boxes, which are been made with protected packaging, approved by the leading shipping companies and will be certainly covered by shipping insurance before any breakage is your guarantee. Nevertheless, shipping using original boxes is an available service, which involves the usage of palletized shipping. Please contact us to assess the cost of this type of shipping.
