Stéphane Cyran is originally from Freyming-Merlebach and comes from a family of miners. Although he was not predestined to work in a vineyard, he was always attracted to the world of wine.
After working as a tourism development manager in the city of Metz for about fifteen years, he decided to change his career and embarked on oenology studies, obtaining a BTS in Rouffach. In 2016, he found the ideal three-hectare vineyard in Mont-le-Vignoble.Vineyards

In his cellar, no barrels or corks are used; instead, he opts for stainless steel or fibreglass vats and capsules for his bottles. These capsules allow for controlled air exchange, helping to maintain the freshness and integrity of the wine. His wines are unfiltered, maintaining all the micro-particles that contribute to the texture, flavour and evolution of the wine.
Stéphane produces different cuvées each year, and although he does not always produce natural sparkling wines, he prefers to make red wines with Pinot Noir and Gamay. These wines reflect his dedication and attention to detail, from the careful cultivation of the vines to the precise and thoughtful vinification. He is also in the process of obtaining organic certification for his wines, reaffirming his commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.
