Buy Wine from Caroline Ledédenté
Caroline Ledédenté makes natural wines from small, remote plots of indigenous varieties located in the south of Bugey, a sub-region within the wider Savoie wine region.
Caroline Ledédenté's vineyards
Caroline Ledédenté works two hectares of her own vineyards in the south of Bugey. They are isolated plots with a lot of biodiversity. The Tomassette and Aux Cries plots, located in Leyzieu, face the Grand Colombier, the mountain at the southern end of the Jura, and have vines planted since 1985/1990 with Gamay, Aligoté, Jacquère and Chasselas varieties on clay and limestone soils.
On the other hand, Corbonod is a plot of just under one hectare facing the Rhône, which is located on the border with Savoie and has Altesse and Molette planted 1998/1999 on limestone and clay.
There is also Musin, a very small plot of almost a quarter of a hectare, with Mondeuse and Chardonnay from 1990. Finally, there is La Cote, her first plot in the commune of Gevrin, with vines planted in 1985 at an altitude of 450 metres above sea level.
Wines of Caroline Ledédenté
Caroline Ledédenté's natural wines are wines made from indigenous grape varieties, reflecting the energy and creativity of their creator. Her curiosity leads her to create a large number of base wines in very small quantities, which results in a very limited availability of her wines.
