Description
Pérez Pascuas Gran Selección Gran Reserva is a tribute to the winemaking tradition of the Pérez Pascuas family, whose commitment and care are reflected in the creation of this wine. Made exclusively with Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) grapes from vineyards over 80 years old, grown at an altitude of 840 metres above sea level, this wine is a true emblem of Ribera del Duero. The combination of old vines and limited production results in a product of superior quality and great personality.
Winemaking
The vineyard sits on a clay-limestone soil, giving the grapes distinctive characteristics that translate into wines of structure and depth. The grapes are harvested by hand, with an average yield of 2,250 kg per hectare, which allows only the best grapes to be selected for winemaking. The ageing process for Pérez Pascuas Gran Selección Gran Reserva is meticulous: 26 months in American and French oak barrels, followed by at least 36 months of bottle ageing, guaranteeing a wine that expresses itself with maturity and elegance.
