Description
In the quiet village of Valliguières, in the Gard department of France, a young winemaker named Lori Haon found her passion among forgotten vineyards. After training in Alsace, Burgundy and Champagne, in 2015 she acquired 15 hectares of vines through an eBay ad. With a clear vision, he set about revitalising these vineyards, cultivating them organically without chemicals or pesticides. His philosophy is based on respect for the terroir and minimal intervention, allowing each bottle to express the authenticity of the land.
Winemaking
Le Petit Oratoire T'As Poussé Le Bouchon Trop Loin is a carefully crafted blend of Garnacha, Syrah, Cinsault and Cariñena. The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo a two to three week maceration in concrete tanks, using 80% whole bunches and supplemented with 20% direct press must. This slow infusion process allows the desired flavours and aromas to be gently extracted. The wine is aged in concrete tanks before bottling without filtering or fining, maintaining its purity and natural character. In addition, no sulphites are added during vinification, reflecting Lori's commitment to natural winemaking.
