Made with a blend of fruit from across the estate, the Pieve Santa Restituta 2020 Brunello di Montalcino Rennina offers excellent integration with soft spice and sweet cherry fruit. The wine packs textural richness, and you don't get the dry or desiccated tannins and phenolic pinch that is common in hot growing seasons. Indeed, the tannins here are sweet and well hydrated. There is plenty of fruit to round off a long finish. Rennina ages in oak barrel for 24 months, and 14,000 bottles were created.

Gaja Rennina Brunello di Montalcino Rennina is made from Sangiovese grapes. This wine comes from the Tuscan estate Pieve Santa Restituta, owned by Gaja. The name "Rennina" is derived from the ancient Roman name of the estate, which literally means "state farm".

On the palate, it is warm and velvety, with soft tannins that underline its great elegance. It is an ideal wine for ageing and can be kept in optimal conditions for more than 20 years. Its flavour profile makes it perfect to accompany roasted meats, game and cured cheeses.
