The Gaja 2024 Langhe Alteni di Brassica knocks it out of the park with its extraordinary precision, clarity and freshness. The bouquet is beautifully lifted with vibrant citrus, preserved lemon and grapefruit framed by subtle creaminess that adds texture without diminishing the wine's energy. The palate is razor-sharp and remarkably vibrant, finishing with lingering citrus and mineral notes. Beginning with the 2024 vintage, approximately 60% of the blend comes from eight-year-old vineyards in Alta Langa, bringing an extra dimension of freshness and finesse. As the estate's growing portfolio continues to evolve, the Gaja family continues to evaluate which cool Alta Langa sites are best suited to existing blends and which might ultimately justify new wines.
