Fanny Sabre Aloxe Corton is a red wine from Burgundy, France, made from 100% Pinot Noir. Sourced from vineyards located in the communes of Aloxe-Corton and Ladoix-Serrigny, this wine is produced following biodynamic viticulture principles, with low yields to obtain very concentrated grapes.
Winemaking
Fermentation of Fanny Sabre Aloxe Corton is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts and a long maceration is carried out to extract maximum colour and tannins from the skins. Ageing takes place in oak barrels for 15 to 18 months.
Taste
Fanny Sabre Aloxe Corton is characterised by an intense and structured flavour. On the nose, it presents aromas of red fruits such as raspberry and cherry, accompanied by floral notes of violets and a touch of liquorice. On the palate, it is a powerful wine, with firm tannins that require a few years of ageing to soften. The fruity sensations are complemented by notes of flint, cocoa and a slight minerality, creating a complex and elegant flavour profile.
This wine, true to the traditional Burgundy style, stands out for its elegance and depth, promising a pleasant and balanced sensory experience for years to come.
