Description
Fanny Sabre Gevrey Chambertin is a red Burgundy wine made from Pinot Noir grapes grown using organic farming techniques. The vines, aged between 40 and 70 years old, are located in the prestigious plots of "Le Combe de Laval", "La Justice" and "La Combe d'Orveau" in the Côte de Nuits region.
Winemaking
Fanny Sabre, the young owner and winemaker of the Domaine, seeks to preserve the maximum expression of the terroir through sustainable practices. Vinification includes alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in cement and oak tanks, with 18 months of ageing in used oak barrels.
Taste
Fanny Sabre Gevrey Chambertin has a deep ruby red colour. On the nose, it displays aromas of small red fruits such as raspberries and blackberries, accompanied by floral and mineral notes. The palate is elegant and fresh, with silky tannins and a long, fruity finish. This wine expresses the full potential of Pinot Noir from the village of Gevrey-Chambertin, offering a refined and balanced tasting experience.
