Domaine De La Grand Cour Fleurie Chapelle Des Bois is a wine that embodies the essence of traditional viticulture and a passion for excellence. This wine, from the Beaujolais region of France, is a testament to the dedication and respect for the land and nature.
Winemaking
Made exclusively from Gamay grapes, this wine is a pure reflection of its variety. The vines, between 20 and 70 years old, are located on granitic soils at an altitude of 250 metres, which contributes to the wine's complexity and richness of flavours. With a yield of 16 to 22 hl/ha, harvesting is done by hand, ensuring the selection of the best grapes. Vinification is carried out using traditional methods, using indigenous yeasts and keeping the grapes in tanks at low temperatures, saturated in carbon dioxide gas. This process highlights the purity and expression of the terroir.
Ageing takes place in French oak barrels for 1 to 4 years, which adds subtle woody notes and complexity to the wine. Fining and filtration are avoided to preserve the integrity and authenticity of the wine. With a sugar content of less than 2 g/l and total sulphites of 25 mg/l, this wine is characterised by its purity and its focus on the natural expression of the grape and terroir.
