The 2022 En Barberon Chardonnay comes from Lias soils and did not have sulfur added at all (the only Chardonnay from 2022 that he could handle like that), and in June 2023, only one barrel of it had finished fermentation. It has citrus and appley aromas, faintly reductive. It still has a long way to go...
