Description
Louis Terral Vera is a wine that stands out for its uniqueness and quality. Produced in the Bugey region of France, this wine is an excellent example of the Gamay variety. The cuvée Vera reveals a sanguine, fruity and spicy wine, characterised by a gentle extraction that allows the substance to be present, while keeping the tannins very civilised. The wine's natural acidity provides a perfect balance, resulting in a lively and expressive wine.
Winemaking
The elaboration of Louis Terral Vera follows an organic and biodynamic approach, certified by Demeter. Indigenous yeast is used, no sulphites or other inputs are added, and the wine is not filtered. This process highlights the purity and natural expression of the Gamay. The vineyard from which this wine originates has vines that are approximately 80 years old, which contributes to the complexity and depth of the flavours.
As for the ageing process, the Louis Terral Vera undergoes a semi-carbonic maceration process in the traditional Beaujolais style, lasting 15 to 20 days. Subsequently, it is aged for a minimum of 6 months in old barrels. This ageing method gives the wine a slightly more marked structure, without sacrificing the delicacy of the fruit and the aromas of wild herbs.

Louis Terral Vera is a celebration of the typicality of Gamay. It is characterised by a fruity and savoury wine, with a slightly pearly and rustic touch.
