Rivas de Tereso are parishes of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, but the difference with the 2020 Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos de Rivas de Tereso is that the vineyards are at higher altitude and the percentage of Garnacha is much higher here (38%), so there's more mountain character and more herbal notes in the wine. It has 57% Tempranillo and some 5% other varieties. Despite a moderate 13.95% alcohol, the nose shows good ripeness, and there is some wilderness here, perhaps a little more rusticity too. The soils are very stony and rich in limestone, and the altitude gives the wine an austere twist. 19,742 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2022.

Description
Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos de Rivas de Tereso is a wine that stands out for the uniqueness of its origin in a small mountainous hamlet of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, located at an altitude of 634 to 702 metres. This wine is made from a blend of 57% Tempranillo, 38% Garnacha and 5% other varieties, which gives it a distinctive and complex character.
Winemaking
The vines, which range in age from 30 to 90 years old, grow in clay-limestone soils with abundant stoniness, which gives the wine a remarkable minerality. The grapes are harvested by hand at the beginning of October, and fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The ageing process lasts 12 months in oak barrels of different volumes before bottling.

Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos de Rivas de Tereso offers an intense and fragrant nose, with floral, herbaceous and spicy notes, as well as aromas of blueberry jam.
