Description
La Senda Une Rose de Blancs is a wine created by winemaker Diego Losada, a producer who combines his knowledge of organic chemistry and his love of music to create wines of unique character. The vineyards are located in Bierzo, a region between Galicia and León, known for its combination of warm and cold climates, which bring great complexity to the grapes. This wine is mainly composed of Palomino and Godello grape varieties. The vines from which they come are between 80 and 95 years old, which gives it a special character. The soil is a mixture of clay and minerals, including quartz, iron and slate, which give a remarkable mineral structure to the wine.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand in the first week of September. After a partial destemming process, the grapes are left to macerate for a few days in used French oak barrels, previously used for ageing red wines. Fermentation and ageing of the wine are carried out in the same barrels, without filtering, fining or addition of sulphur dioxide(SO2). The wine rests for about five months before bottling, thus preserving its natural purity.

La Senda Une Rose de Blancs stands out for its Atlantic freshness and its aromatic profile of stone fruits and floral hints. On the palate, it shows a balance between lively acidity and a subtle tannic structure derived from the contact with the grape skins during maceration. Its minerality, reflecting the mineral-rich soil, complements the wine's elegance, creating a unique tasting experience, evoking both the depth of the terroir and the winemaker's creativity.
