Description
The Joan Rubió Joanots wine is a white wine that is considered natural, biodynamic and organic, meaning that its production respects practices that reduce environmental impact. This means that it is grown and produced with respect for the environment and sustainable practices.
It is dominated by floral aromas and notes of ripe white fruits, making it an excellent choice for those who want a natural, quality wine that also tastes fresh and unique.
Winemaking
Joan Rubió Joanots wine is produced organically and using biodynamic techniques, making the most of a range of grapes harvested in Spain, more specifically in the Penedés region.
Likewise, the grapes for the winemaking process are harvested and selected by hand, which ensures that the quality of the grapes is maintained.
After they are selected, the grapes are stripped of any leaves or branches they may have and stored with their skins in stainless steel containers for a little over a week.
They are then left to rest in a white ceramic barrel for 2 months without pressing. After this, they are left to rest for a further 6 months in stainless steel containers, before being bottled.
Taste
This wine stands out for its intense flavour, with a minerality that gives it structure and makes it long lasting in the mouth, finishing with a faint salty taste.
