Goyo García Viadero, is a widely recognised winegrower in the Ribera del Duero and surrounding areas, due to his insistence on working the land organically, respecting the soil and its cycles, without using herbicides or other chemicals.
One of the best wines produced in this winery is Goyo García Reserva Especial. A perfect wine to accompany different types of meat and whose fruity flavour with spicy notes will not leave you indifferent.
Elaboration
The multi-varietal wine Goyo García Reserva Especial is made with Tempranillo and Albillo grape varieties. After carrying out a blind tasting of the barrels together with his wife, he chooses the one he likes the most and leaves it to age for almost two years.
These barrels have spent about three years of ageing in the underground stone cellar. The ageing lasts for a total of about five years in used French oak barrels .
Taste
The natural red wine Goyo García Reserva Especial is a deep, dry and complex wine. It has notes of red fruits, spices and wood. In addition, it has a silky mouthfeel and a fresh entry. Its colour is ruby red and has good brightness.
