The 2023 Cerro Las Cuevas reveals contained ripeness and 14% alcohol, a showy nose with a mixture of wild herbs, flowers and berries with a spicy and smoky twist, hints of licorice and Mediterranean herbs and a juicy palate with freshness and fine tannins. It was produced with a field blend of 75% Tempranillo, 15% Graciano and the rest Garnacha and Mazuelo from slopes and terraces in Ollauri. It fermented with indigenous yeasts in open-top vats and matured for 12 months in French oak. 2,492 bottles and 47 magnums produced. It was bottled in June 2024.
