The red 2022 Selecció Vi de Finca Qualificada El Mas was produced with a blend of 60% Garnacha Peluda, 30% Garnacha Tinta and 10% Cariñena, each variety planted on different soils. It fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and matured in 500-liter French oak barrels, with 30% of the volume kept in concrete to add freshness to the blend. It's creamy and faintly balsamic, with notes of sweet spices and ripe berry fruit intermixed with hints of aromatic herbs. It has 14.5% alcohol, a pH of 3.53 and five grams of acidity, with a medium- to full-bodied palate and sleek tannins. 3,500 bottles produced. It was bottled in October 2024.
