Description
Ceretto Langhe Monsordo Bianco is a pure and authentic expression of the Langhe. Originating from the Albaretto Torre commune, this white wine stands out for being made exclusively from Riesling Renano, an international variety that has been carefully studied and observed by the Ceretto family to understand its expression and potential variations in the terroir of the Langhe. Since 2015, the Langhe Bianco Arbarei, made entirely from Riesling from the Rhine, has adopted the name Monsordo Bianco. Although its appearance has evolved over time, the desire to express the Riesling variety in its Langhe terroir remains intact, a terroir that profoundly influences the character of the wines it produces.
At a considerable altitude of 600 metres above sea level, on chalky soils and with marked thermal patterns, this unique wine is born. Although its production has a moderately continental character, it displays pleasant Mediterranean aromas, but without losing fidelity to the German origins of the variety.
Taste
On the palate this wine surprises with a moderate residual sugar, which manages to balance a remarkable freshness, as malolactic fermentation does not take place. This characteristic gives it roundness and complexity, making each sip a sublime experience.
