The white blend 2024 Blanco was produced with 40% Moscatel, 33% Macabeo, 20% Merseguera and 7% Viognier. It has 13% alcohol, a pH of 3.2 and 6.6 grams of acidity and is young and fruit-driven, clean, with notes of white fruit and flowers, a citrus touch and some balsamic notes reminiscent of bay leaf, with a slightly reductive personality. It's fresh and balanced, with purity of flavors. To keep the freshness and the young profile, it was bottled early and unoaked. 45,000 bottles were filled in November 2024.

Description
Pepe Mendoza Casa Agrícola Blanco is a wine representation that combines the essence of two prominent terroirs of Alicante: the Vinalopó highlands and the Tierras Marinas. This white wine is composed of three main varieties: Moscatel ( 40%), Macabeo (40%) and Merseguera (20%). These varieties, especially Moscatel, give it a distinctive character and an unmistakable flavour that differentiates it from other vintages in which Airén was used instead of Merseguera.
Winemaking
As for its production and ageing, it stands out for its minimal intervention vinification, where each variety is vinified separately at its optimum point. After this process, the wine undergoes a brief ageing in stainless steel tanks. Before being marketed, the wine remains in the bottle for approximately 6 months, also undergoing a light filtration.
Taste
Pepe Mendoza Casa Agrícola Blanco has a light straw yellow colour, accompanied by a good tear. Its nose is of medium intensity, where light aromas of tropical fruits such as pineapple and grapefruit are perceived, complemented with notes of white flowers. On the palate, it has a sweet taste, highlighting that rich tropical fruit and that unmistakable hint of Muscatel that makes it addictive. It is complemented by notes of aniseed and a low acidity, making it a delicious wine, ideal to accompany any meal or even to be enjoyed on its own.
