The 2023 Motor Callet was produced with grapes from the local call vermell soil. The grapes were destemmed and foot trodden and fermented in tanks without any added sulfur, then matured in clay pots for three months followed by a further two months in stainless steel. It has a perfumed nose with notes of flowers, berries and wild herbs, very attractive. It has a contained 12% alcohol and a balanced mouthfeel, medium-bodied and with very fine tannins. It's clean and elegant, very approachable. 1,500 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2024.

Description
The Motor Callet wine, a creation of the 4kilos winery in Mallorca, is an authentic expression of modern, environmentally friendly viticulture. This wine is distinguished by its unique composition, being a blend of 70% Callet and 30% Fogoneu, varieties indigenous to the region.
Winemaking
The uniqueness of Motor Callet is accentuated in its winemaking process, where both fermentation and ageing are carried out in amphorae made of local clay, a technique that enhances its freshness and character.
The production of Motor Callet is a testimony to the dedication and respect for the terroir. Fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts in 225-litre jars and brick tanks, all made from red Mallorcan clay. This method contributes to the purity and expressiveness of the wine. Moreover, its ageing for three months in these same containers, without the addition of sulphur dioxide, preserves the integrity and authenticity of its flavours.
Taste
Motor Callet is characterised by its elegance and purity. On the nose, it is elegant and perfumed, with intense floral and red fruit notes, complemented by subtle hints of aromatic herbs. On the palate, it has a pleasant aromatic intensity and is easy to drink. It exhibits lively acidity and a subtly spicy finish, making it a light to medium-bodied wine, ideal to accompany a variety of dishes, from appetizers to white meats and pasta.
Production of Motor Callet is limited, with only 10,000 bottles produced, underlining its exclusivity and attention to detail at every stage of its creation. This wine not only reflects the natural conditions of the vintage, but is also a testament to the 4kilos winery's commitment to quality and sustainability.
