Nestled in the heart of Valliguières, in the Gard department, Domaine du Petit Oratoire is a reflection of Lori Haon's passion and audacity. At just 23 years of age, this young winemaker decided to set out on his own path, defying the conventions of the region and committing himself to viticulture that respects the land. Since his first vinifications in 2016, Haon has cultivated his vineyards with a natural philosophy, applying treatments based on plant extracts and essential oils to preserve the balance of the ecosystem. Its vines, planted on limestone, sandstone and shale soils, give rise to wines with a unique expression of terroir. Le Petit Oratoire Supercinq is a tribute to simplicity, to the purity of the fruit and to the immediate pleasure of a wine without artifice. Made from a careful selection of Garnacha, Syrah, Cariñena and Cinsault, this wine reflects the richness of the region's indigenous varieties.
Winemaking
True to its commitment to minimal intervention, Lori Haon vinifies Le Petit Oratoire Supercinq in concrete vats, without resorting to carbonic maceration or aggressive extractions. Fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts, allowing the fruit to express itself freely. After a short ageing period, the wine is bottled without filtering or fining, maintaining all its vitality and freshness. The result is a spontaneous and vibrant cuvée, with a light structure that invites you to drink without complexes.
