Description
La Borderie Trois Contrées Extra Brut is an exceptional champagne that represents the perfect fusion of tradition and modernity. This wine is a blend of 70% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Blanc, coming from the vineyards located in the villages of Merrey sur Arce, Ville sur Arce and Bar sur Seine. The cuvée is the result of the year's harvest and 15% of reserve wines. Part of the Pinot Noir rests in wooden barrels, while malolactic fermentation takes place in steel tanks. The wine is aged on the lees for at least 24 months, and the dosage is 4.5 g/l of sugar. It is classified as Extra Brut.
Taste
Borderie Trois Contrées Extra Brut is distinguished by its elegance, reflected in its pale golden colour with amber highlights. The nose is fine and floral, with notes of spices, candied citrus and dried fruits. On the palate, it stands out for its fair acidity and saline flavour, offering great richness, fruitiness and an excellent finish. This champagne is perfect to accompany full meals, especially with raw fish such as salmon tartare or seafood.
