The red called simply 2022 Negre ('red' in Catalan language) is pure Garnacha from the south of Montsant that fermented with full clusters and indigenous yeasts in stainless steel, where the wine matured for six months. It has 14% alcohol and a pH of 3.59. It's pure fruit, very expressive, varietal and open with a sense of purity and harmony. It has a beautiful nose that is floral and clean, with red fruit notes. It's juicy and light but with some grip that gives it seriousness. Like most of the range in 2022, they are a little warmer and rounder, varietal but not banal. This comes from purchased grapes that are worked organically. It's very young but approachable. Beautiful. 17,100 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2023.

Description
Terroir Sense Fronteres Negre is a liquid expression of the uniqueness and soul of Montsant, a region surrounding the famous Priorat. This wine was born from the quest to capture the unique minerality and character of Montsant.
The wine is made exclusively with the Garnacha Tinta variety , in the Montsant region, in vineyards ranging in age from 15 to 35 years, altitudes of 300 to 350 metres above sea level, and a clay and sandy soil type .
Winemaking
The must ferments with indigenous yeasts for 7 days with whole clusters in stainless steel tanks, followed by an additional 6 months of ageing in the same stainless steel tanks. With a commitment to organic farming, this entry-level red wine speaks of and for the region, conveying a fruit-driven message that rewards those who choose to listen.
Taste
Terroir Sense Fronteres Negre stands out for its flavour. The sight reveals a bright cherry colour. The nose reveals enticing aromas of crisp cherries and blackberries, accompanied by herbal nuances. The palate is medium-bodied, with silky flavours of red fruits, spices and hints of liquorice. It is an easy and elegant wine, equal parts robust and refined, with fine tannins and a lingering mineral finish.
