Grapes are fermented with skin contact for first 10 days . Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Aged for 3 weeks in French oak barrels and subsequently for 6 months in stainless steel vats. Bottled without sulfur.

Joan Rubió Tiques wine is one of the most relevant and valued beverages in Catalonia, more specifically in the Alt Penedès region of Spain. It is a white wine that is produced organically, which is characterised by its fresh, sweet and fruity aroma, with citric and aniseed notes.

Winemaking
It is made in the traditional way using the principles of the Penedès region, using Xarel-l grapes, owned by the Cal Tiques estate which is located in Santa Margarida i els Monjos.
Due to its fermentation process in French oak barrels, with indigenous yeasts, this wine is very expressive and has a wide range of flavours and aromas.
Its elaboration process is long and generally seasonal, which causes its production to be limited and exclusive, making it even more appreciated.
Taste
This is a deep, clean and mineral tasting wine which gives it a smooth texture and a balance of acidity, with a dry and saline finish.
