The 2021 Tiques comes from a half hectare harvested at the end of August, macerated for six days in stainless steel and finished fermenting and matured in red clay tinaja and a short time in French oak. He uses no added sulfur, but the wines are precise and clean; he'd add sulfur if it was needed, but the way he works with skins created a reductive environment and doesn't need added sulfur. The wines have moderate ripeness and 11% alcohol. 980 bottles produced. 2021 was dry and with normal yields.

Winemaking
It is made in the traditional way using the principles of the Penedès region, using Xarel-l grapes, owned by the Cal Tiques estate which is located in Santa Margarida i els Monjos.
Due to its fermentation process in French oak barrels, with indigenous yeasts, this wine is very expressive and has a wide range of flavours and aromas.
Its elaboration process is long and generally seasonal, which causes its production to be limited and exclusive, making it even more appreciated.
