Dönnhoff Riesling is an authentic expression of the Riesling variety, reflecting the richness of the volcanic soils of porphyry and melaphyrite, with certain amounts of slate and quartzite, and the Dönnhoff winery's expertise in making exceptional wines.
Winemaking
Originating from vineyards on steep slopes in the middle Nahe region. This wine is made from Riesling grapes, a variety that has found in these lands the perfect place to express itself at its best. The grapes come from vines that range in age from 15 to 30 years, giving the wine a unique complexity and depth. Production is limited to approximately 50 hl/ha, guaranteeing high quality and concentration. As for its production, it is important to highlight that 100% of the grapes are hand-selected, ensuring that only the best bunches are used to make this wine. Once harvested, the grapes are fermented and subsequently matured in stainless steel tanks, thus preserving the freshness and purity of the Riesling variety.

Dönnhoff Riesling presents itself on the palate as a deliciously semi-dry wine, with a nuanced natural sweetness that is perfectly balanced by a sophisticated acidity. Its aromatic profile is pure, clear and refined, but at the same time intense, making it immediately appealing. On the palate, it is round and charming, but also stimulating, with a spicy touch and a grippy texture that invites a second sip.
