Description
Les Bergeries is the name of the plot located in the Treslon house, where the Pinot noir used to produce the Brut Nature wine comes from. The vineyards are more than 38 years old and have been organically farmed since approximately 2019.
The wine is vinified in oak barrels, which offers some quite marked and interesting nuances, making the red and black fruits blend with delicate notes of crunchy bread crust.
Domaine Lagille, located in Treslon, was founded in 1818, but the family tradition has been cultivating and working the land since about the 17th century.
For siblings Vincent and Maud, the most important thing is to bring the expression of nature through their terroir to their wines.
Winemaking
With a manual selection of bunches of Pinot Noir grapes, harvested in a soil with abundant presence of sandy clay, these are vineyards that have been worked in an ecological way for several years with southern exposure, without leaving aside the traditional and artisanal.
Taste
With an old gold colour and subtle coppery glints, this wine presents itself to its tasters. It has a discreet aroma where the protagonists are red and black fruits, as well as a peculiar and slight hint of crunchy bread crust.
On the palate it is somewhat dense and shy at first, but after decanting it becomes more intense, with tones of stone fruits for a long, saline finish. A perfect pairing for poultry dishes.
Pinots du Soleil
The grapes of this type of wine are called Pinots du Soleil by the winegrowers. They define them as a delicacy to taste and of course to vinify.
