Description
Suertes del Marqués Trenzado is a white wine made from Listán Blanca grapes together with other varieties of the fruit. Its particular aroma of white fruits and citrus notes define it perfectly, making it elegant and seductive to any palate.
Elaboration
Suertes del Marqués Trenzado is the result of processing Listán Blanca grapes grown in vineyards located 500 metres above sea level, in volcanic soils over 100 years old. The name of the wine comes from the traditional cultivation system known as cordon braid.
The grapes are harvested by hand, making an exhaustive selection of the best bunches of fruit, which are then sorted a second time in the winery, de-stemmed and pressed.
Of the must resulting from the pressing process, only 60% is transferred to French oak vats and the rest to concrete barrels. Alcoholic fermentation begins spontaneously without the addition of chemicals to speed up the process and lasts up to three weeks.
Finally, the extract is transferred to foudres for malolactic fermentation and then left to settle for 8 months.

Suertes del Marqués Trenzado has a balanced citrus flavour with a smoky touch, making the tasting of this drink a vibrant and seductive experience. On contact with the palate it gives off an acidity and freshness with ample permanence.
