Description
La Llopetera is a single varietal red wine made from Pinot Noir grapes coming from vineyards that bear the same name as the wine, located in the municipality of L'Espluga de Francolí.
As with other wines from this winery, the winemaking process follows a philosophy that respects the natural expression of the fruit, with a minimum of labour intervention and the addition of chemical elements.
The result of this type of agriculture is a certified natural wine, defined as fresh and elegant.
Winemaking
The production of La Llopetera wine begins with the harvesting of the fruit, using 100% artisan techniques, thus guaranteeing that the grapes reach the winery at an ideal point of ripeness and that they can express their qualities in the subsequent processes.
This fruit is then subjected to a phase of alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts, ensuring that no element is added that alters the natural flavour of the grape. This is carried out in stainless steel barrels.
After fermentation, the wine is aged for 6 months in French oak barrels and then bottled without fining or filtration processes.

The wine La Llopetera of Escoda Sanahuja is a cherry-coloured red wine that denotes the naturalness of its elaboration in every sip. Its mineral tones stand out against the presence of red fruit notes, which combine perfectly with the texture that characterises it.
