Description
As delicate as its name, the rosé wine Château Le Puy Rose Marie comes from vineyards that have been cultivated without any chemical treatment for many years by the Amoreau family in Bordeaux, France.
The soils on which these vines are grown are predominantly loamy and clayey with limestone.
Elaboration
The winemaking process is based on organic and biodynamic treatments that allow the Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes to reach maturity with excellent quality, offering a great taste.
The Château Le Puy Rose Marie wine is dynamised according to the lunar calendar. Unlike other wines of this winery, which are aged for about two years in barrels, this wine is only aged for five to ten months, although it is also aged in used barrels. Moreover, it ferments spontaneously with minimal intervention.
Like the other wines of the Château Le Puy winery, Rose Marie is not added sulphites and is bottled unfiltered.
Taste
The Amoreau family has a legacy of some 400 years of cultivating the best vineyards and making the best wines, and all this knowledge is reflected in the aroma and flavour of the Château Le Puy Rose Marie rosé wine. The nose is fresh and floral, with red fruit aromas and soft notes of white flowers.
It is so light that its tannins are barely perceptible, however, it can also be felt as a deep wine. elegance and complexity.
A dry wine, but smooth as a rose
