Bàrbara Forés Abrisa't is a unique wine produced by the Bàrbara Forés winery in the Terra Alta region. This wine is produced exclusively with grapes of the Garnatxa Blanca variety from the La Sendroseta estate.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand, ensuring the selection of the best bunches. The elaboration of Bàrbara Forés Abrisa't is distinguished by a process of prolonged maceration, followed by fermentation and ageing for six months in ceramic jars, a traditional method that dates back to ancestral techniques of the region. The result is a natural wine, without additives or filtration, which faithfully reflects the characteristics of the terroir and the variety.
Taste
Bàrbara Forés Abrisa't has a unique and complex flavour. On the nose, it stands out for its notes of stone fruits and ripe white fruits, accompanied by a background of fresh Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is pleasant, with an undefined fruitiness and a slight tannic touch that makes it very gastronomic. Its good acidity and long finish make it a versatile wine, capable of accompanying a wide variety of dishes. The balance between its components and its distinctive character make it a remarkable example of the region's orange wines. This wine is ideal for pairing with Mediterranean dishes, especially fish, seafood and rice dishes, as well as with white meats and soft cheeses, thanks to its versatility and personality.
