The 2007 Sota Els Angels is an unusual blend of 40% Carmenere, 39% Merlot, 10% Syrah, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Carinena, so you won’t be surprised to hear it has a strong note of bell pepper that dominates the nose which is intermixed with some balsamic overtones of tar. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with some, but limited freshness, and a slightly drying finish. Drink now-2016.
