Winemaking
Made primarily from Pinot Noir grapes, this wine comes from young vineyards located in Uchizy, a region known for its pure limestone soil. The grapes are fermented in whole bunches for two weeks in tanks, a process that is carried out without pumping over or pigeage, and then pressed and transferred to large foudres where they spend a year of ageing. This vinification method, together with the cooler climate of the vintage, results in a wine of remarkable finesse and elegance.
