Description
Flor de Morca is a red wine produced in the Campo de Borja DO by the Morca winery, part of the Gil Family Estates group. This wine is made exclusively from Garnacha grapes, a native variety of Aragón, famous for its expressiveness and powerful character.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo fermentation in small stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, followed by malolactic fermentation and subsequent storage in tanks until bottling. This wine has an alcohol content of 14.5%.
Taste
In the glass, Flor de Morca has a bright cherry red colour with violet hues. On the nose, it stands out for its aromatic intensity, where fresh red fruits give way to smoky, cocoa and liquorice notes. On the palate, it is enveloping and smooth, with a flavoursome and fruity evolution, reminiscent of ripe black fruits. Its tannins are delicate and ripe, providing structure, while its finish is persistent and fresh, making it a balanced and versatile wine to pair with a variety of dishes.
