The 2020 Carpe Diem MMXII was produced with grapes from vines planted on granite soils and matured for two years in amphorae. It has a complex, deep bouquet with aromas of pear, white peach, spring flowers and herbs. Medium-bodied and fleshy, supple and round, smoky and a bit reductive, it’s long and mineral with a delicate, phenolic bitterness and a penetrating finish—a stunning wine.
